Tonight, they’ll run it back. “Rampage” took a unanimous decision from “King Mo” in the first fight – a decision Lawal was plenty disappointed in. Jackson even expressed regret – regret that he had to go to the judges and didn’t knock Lawal out in their Bellator 120 headliner, which doubled as the promotion’s first pay-per-view event. Tonight, at Bellator 175, Lawal (20-6 MMA, 9-4 BMMA) will have his chance to even the score, and Jackson (37-11 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) will have his chance to get the finish he wanted in the first one.

If you missed Bellator MMA’s recent pay-per-view debut, you can watch a replay next month on Spike TV. Officials today announced that Bellator 120, which initially took place May 17, will re-air Friday, July 18, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The replay takes place a week before the organization’s next “Summer Series” event, Bellator 122, and on the eve of UFC Fight Night 46. Bellator 120 took place at Landers Center in Southaven, Miss. The five-bout main card followed prelims on Spike TV and Spike.com.

Spike TV president confirms Bellator 120 did 100,000 pay-per-view buys

Bellator’s first pay-per-view effort reached a significant benchmark of success, according to Spike TV President Kevin Kay. Kay today told MMAjunkie that Bellator 120′s reported buyrate of 100,000 is “dead-on accurate,” putting the event above the reported figures for several previous non-UFC pay-per-view ventures, including Strikeforce and Elite XC, PRIDE, Bodog, and Affliction. “I’m hesitant to answer, because … we haven’t done pay-per-views,” Kay said. “I’ll stand by that 100,000, though.” Initial figures from the event, which took place May 17 and featured a light heavyweight grudge match between ex-UFC champ Quinton Jackson and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, were reported around the 50,000 mark. In the following weeks, the number swelled to 100,000, though one industry titan shot down the figure

Lawal (12-4 MMA, 4-3 BMMA) recently fought rival Quinton Jackson (34-11 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) at Bellator 120, which took place this past month and marked the organization’s pay-per-view debut. “King Mo” was confident the victory was his, and even before the scorecards were read at the May 17 event, Lawal said Jackson was asking him about a rematch. MMAjunkie scored it 29-28 for Lawal (as did 10 of 12 other media outlets, according to mmadecisions.com ), but “Rampage” was awarded a unanimous-decision victory via 29-28 scores

After two decision losses, ex-Bellator champ Michael Chandler needs to finish fights
