The Spike TV-televised event took place at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., and it featured two tournament finals. However, among casual or longtime MMA fans, the most interesting matchup may have been the main-card opener, in which veteran welterweight Karo Parisyan (24-10 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) pounded out fellow UFC vet Phil Baroni (15-18 MMA, 0-1 BMMA).
