During the AXS TV-televised headliner, which took place at Arena Theatre in Houston, heavyweight Brice Ritani-Coe (4-3) couldn’t continue after opponent Justin Ledet (6-0) accidentally caught him with a thumb to the eye . Legacy FC 55 results: Early eye poke ends Justin Ledet vs. Brice Ritani-Coe

Fans were expecting a heavyweight slugfest between Justin Ledet and Brice Ritani-Coe in the main event of Legacy FC 55. Instead, the fight ended in unsatisfying fashion after Ritani-Coe was unable to continue due to an eye poke early in Round 1. The event took place at Arena Theatre in Houston. The main card aired on AXS TV following untelevised prelims. The two big men looked happy to trade on the feet early in the fight, but a Ledet (6-0) jab slid off the side of the face of Ritani-Coe (4-3). As his hand continued past Ritani-Coe’s face, Ledet’s thumb dug into the eye.
