LFA 23 takes place at Horseshoe Bossier City Hotel Casino & Hotel in Bossier City, La., and the main card airs on AXS TV. In the headliner, welterweight champion Derrick Krantz (20-9) takes on challenger James Nakashima (7-0). Krantz, a 29-year-old Texan and former Legacy FC champ, looks for his first LFA defense after scoring a second-round TKO victory over Ben Neumann to win the belt. It marked his third straight win and his his sixth victory in his past seven fights
