After Fakhreddine (15-4) picked up a knockout win over Maalem (11-4) on Friday’s card in Bahrain, he went over the corner of his opponent and flipped the middle finger amid his celebration. That prompted one of the cornermen to scale and jump over the cage, causing all hell to break loose. To his credit, however, referee Aaron Wallace stepped up and prevented the chaotic situation from escalating. Wallace did his best to restrain Fakhreddine, who managed to get free and rush the cage intruder with a winging punch

Promotion officials today announced that Katona (10-2) will face Bahrain’s Hamza Kooheji (11-2) at Brave CF 57 on March 11 with the organization’s vacant bantamweight title on the line. The card, which is expected to feature three title fights, streams live on BraveCFTV.com from Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain. Katona claimed the “TUF 27” featherweight tourney in 2018 with a decision win over Jay Cucciniello. “Superman” then dropped down to 135 pounds and picked up a decision win over Matthew Lopez. However, his UFC run concluded with back-to-back decision losses to Merab Dvalishvili and and Hunter Azure.
