Britain Hart has a knack for fighting without gloves. Sanctioned bareknuckle boxing is still in its early dawn, but Hart fight-by-fight has carved herself a spot in the history books as she continues to largely dominate each opponent placed in front of her. Friday was no different as she defeated Melanie Shah in the BKFC 51 main event to retain the promotion’s strawweight title. The event took place at Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va. and not only saw Hart win a unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45), but also knock teeth out of the mouth of Shah (2-1) in the final two minutes of the bout.

BKFC 51 takes place Friday at Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va., as 20 bareknuckle fighters come together for 10 five-round scraps. Atop the card, BKFC women’s strawweight champion Britan Hart (7-1) aims to defend her title against undefeated challenger Melanie Shah (2-0). The main card streams on Fubo after prelims on MMA Junkie, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The bout will be Shah’s first of two scheduled less than two months apart.

Chad Johnson dropped in boxing debut, but goes four rounds with Brian Maxwell

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Former NFL All-Pro Chad Johnson was put on the canvas in his boxing debut, but he did make it to the final bell in the four-round exhibition. The former Cincinnati Bengals star faced MMA fighter and bare-knuckle boxer Brian Maxwell in a cruiserweight bout at Hard Rock Stadium that was featured on the prelims of Sunday’s Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul pay-per-view event at Hard Rock Stadium. The special rules matchup did not feature judges to declare a winner.
