UFC Canadian officials recently confirmed the addition of middleweights to the mix after it was announced during Thursday’s Sportsnet360 launch in Canada. The UFC recently added Canada to next international version of its venerable reality series, announcing TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia . Although there are currently few details about the show, TUF Nations features UFC veterans Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke coaching teams of Canadian and Australian fighters, respectively. Tryouts for TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia will begin in September. Both countries will host casting opportunities, the first in Sydney and the second in Toronto

UFC Canadian officials announced the new bout on Monday. UFC 165 takes place Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. A light heavyweight title bout between champion Jon Jones and challenger Alexander Gustafsson headlines the card. Jury (12-0) made his way to the UFC via the fifteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter. He lost on the reality series to eventual runner-up Al Iaquinta, but has taken full advantage of finally getting a shot in the Octagon
