Tonight’s Victory FC 53 lineup got a major change to the main card, but will plow forward with six fights. Middleweight champion Mike Rhodes (10-4) was set to defend his title for the first time against UFC veteran Ron Stallings (14-8) in the main event. But Rhodes had to withdraw from the fight due to illness, the promotion announced, making the new headliner a bantamweight bout between Jeff Curran (36-17-1), a veteran of the UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce, WEC and PRIDE, and Raufeon Stots (6-0). Mike Rhodes Victory FC 53 takes place tonight at Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa. The main card streams on UFC Fight Pass.

Victory FC 51 card finalized for June 24 event in Des Moines

The promotion announced the full seven-fight card, which takes place June 24 from Bucs Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. The card streams live on UFC Fight Pass. A previously announced bout between Rob Emerson (16-11) and Shawn West (12-6) for the vacant bantamweight title serves as the night’s main event. In the co-main event, Rakim Cleveland (14-7-1) battles Mike Rhodes (9-4) for the vacant middleweight belt

Jason Jackson Jason Jackson had little problem capturing the vacant Victory FC welterweight title with a first-round TKO of Victor Moreno in the main event of Victory FC 48. Buccaneer Arena in Urbandale, Iowa, played host to Jackson’s (5-2) triumph, as he needed less than two minutes to overwhelm Moreno (37-23) with strikes to win the belt in impressive fashion in the UFC Fight Pass-streamed headliner. Jackson put the pressure on from the opening bell.

Victor Moreno Victory FC, which recently announced a new deal with UFC Fight Pass, has set a full lineup for its second event of the year. Victory FC 48, which streams on the UFC’s digital streaming network, takes place Feb. 19 at Buccaneer Arena near Des Moines in Urbandale, Iowa. The vacant welterweight title is on the line when Jason Jackson (4-2) takes on Victor Moreno (37-22). Jackson, a promotional newcomer who’s competed primarily for the Florida-based Fight Time promotion, is 3-1 over this past four fights
