Eighteen fighters are no longer on the Bellator roster. Among those who have parted ways includes former featherweight champion Daniel Straus, former light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary, boxer-turned-MMA-fighter Heather Hardy, and former UFC fighter Bec Rawlings. The list also includes two fighters who never got to compete after signing with the promotion because of the COVID-19 pandemic

SAN JOSE, Calif. – There were plenty of knockouts to go around on the Bellator 220 prelims. One of the most jaw-rattling came courtesy of Chuck Campbell . The American Kickboxing Academy fighter’s long reach allowed him to reach Bruno Casillas’ chin early. But his most devasting shot came in close. The two had just collided when Campbell (2-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) grabbed a muay Thai plum and loosed a knee that sent Casillas to the canvas, out cold.

Bellator 206 prelims additions include Piccolotti-Terry, Leibrock-Blencowe, Bolanos-Gutierrez

An extensive 13-bout preliminary card has been set for next month’s Bellator 206 event, and a handful of notable contests reside in prominent roles. Bellator officials recently announced the Bellator 206 prelims will include a catchweight fight with Adam Piccolotti (10-2 MMA, 6-2 BMMA) vs. James Terry (20-9 MMA, 4-3 BMMA), a women’s featherweight contest of Arlene Blencowe (10-7 MMA, 3-3 BMMA) vs. Amber Leibrock (3-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) and a featherweight matchup of Gaston Bolanos (3-1 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) vs. Ysidro Gutierrez (3-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA).
