Following Cyborg’s first defense of her featherweight championship Thursday night at Bellator 249, organization president  Scott Coker revealed talks are ongoing with Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn over a potential crossover bout with boxing champion Katie Taylor. Coker told reporters talks had previously started and will resume now that Cyborg (23-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) has successfully defended her Bellator belt. “There is dialogue between Eddie Hern and myself and I said I would hit him up after the show is over and we’ll continue talking,” Coker said at the Bellator 249 post-fight press conference. “Again, it’s going to be up to Cris to see what she wants to do.
