The end came with Ige blasting away with several hard shots and Woodson looking for a desperation takedown before he ate numerous punches in succession before the referee decided he’d seen enough. It wasn’t until after he got backstage that Ige heard that there was some kind of controversy attached to his fight with reporters telling him that the commentary team praised his performance but ultimately criticized the referee for making a bad call stopping the fight.

Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC Derrick Lewis extended his record for the most knockouts in UFC history after laying waste to another young gun trying to take his spot after finishing Tallison Teixeira in the UFC Nashville main event. It was a wild fight for as long as it lasted with Teixeira actually throwing a short punch that ricocheted off the side of Lewis’ face and seemingly left him struggling to see out of one eye.

Heavyweights Andrei Arlovski and Mike Kyle entertained the crowd at New Jersey’s Revel Atlantic City on Saturday with a back-and-forth battle in the main event of World Series of Fighting 5. Kyle landed early, knocking Arlovski to the canvas. Arlovski weathered the storm and worked his way back to his feet where his right hand began to find a home. He scored a knockdown late in the round and landed a hard shot as Kyle tried to stand.

World Series of Fighting 4 draws 1,589 paid for $79k live gate
