Once Derrick Krantz had Ben Neumann in trouble in Friday’s LFA 12 headliner, he didn’t stop until he was declared the inaugural LFA welterweight champion. Krantz (20-9) capped off the AXS TV-televised broadcast from Mystic Lake Showroom in Prior Lake, Minn., with a brutal ground-and-pound assault on Neumann (12-5) to claim the 170-pound belt by TKO at the 0:55 mark of Round 2.

Markes (15-3) made relatively easy work of Butterfield (13-4) in the co-main event of WSOF 12 on Saturday, picking up a unanimous decision with 29-28 scores on all three cards. But in the first two rounds, Markes made it look like more of a blowout than the scores later would indicate.
