Johnson, who retired after the contest, was suspended for 30 days. Every fighter on the card was handed a seven-day suspension, which the New York State Athletic Commission deems a “standard post-bout wait period.” Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman (13-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) was also issued a 45-day minimum suspension after suffering a controversial TKO loss to Gegard Mousasi (42-6-2 MMA, 9-3 UFC)
