The AXS TV-televised show, which took place at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minn., saw Heidlage (9-3) take out fellow middleweight Chase Waldon (10-1) with a pair of perfectly placed punches . Check out the highlights of that bout above. They also include Chico Camus ’ (16-7) main-event victory over flyweight Czar Sklavos (12-5), Terrion Ware (15-5) teeing off on and defeating durable bantamweight Marvin Blumer (11-6), and resilient Carl Wittstock (7-1) tapping out lightweight Ben Locken (6-4).

RFA 40 features Chico Camus vs. Czar Sklavos headliner on July 15 in Minnesota

Flyweights will be the featured attraction when RFA 40 takes place in Minnesota this summer. Officials today announced veterans Chico Camus (15-7) and Czar Sklavos (12-4) are set to headline the show. RFA 40 takes place July 15 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minn., and the main card airs on AXS TV

Mike Perry When Mike Perry was a freshman in high school, one of his first assignments involved writing an introduction and reading it in front of the class. That wasn’t his specialty. For much of his life, he moved around to different schools between where his father and mother lived in Michigan and Florida. That made adjusting difficult, and the instability eventually led him to a path of drugs, house arrest, probation violation, jail and then, finally, to MMA. As that high school freshman, though, he was just being introduced to the sport. His father’s boss in Michigan, he said, was one of the brothers of legendary fighter Dan Severn

The event, which included an AXS TV-televised main card and a slate of untelevised amateur bouts, took place at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho. It marked the organization’s debut in the state.
