Filed under: AXS TV Fights , Featured Videos , News , Videos Leonardo Leite claimed the Legacy FC middleweight title and is now a two-division champ, but his latest victory came with a heaping scoop of controversy. In Friday’s Legacy FC 39 main event at Houston’s Arena Theater, Leite (6-0) scored a second-round TKO victory over Larry Crowe (9-4). However, just prior to the fight-ending ground-and-pound finish, Leite appeared to catch Crowe with an illegal knee to the groin. Referee Jon Schorle, though, didn’t signal a foul, and the fight went on after the blow

Leonardo Leite Leonardo Leite (6-0) kept his perfect record intact and claimed Legacy FC’s middleweight title, but the win over Larry Crowe (9-4) did not come without controversy. Leite earned a TKO win in the headlining bout of Friday’s Legacy FC 39 event, which took place at Houston’s Arena Theater, but the beginning of the end may have come from an illegal blow.

Blackzilians-trained Leonardo Leite (5-0) will defend his middleweight title against Larry Crowe (9-3) in the headliner.
