Bellator returned to 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday with Bellator 291 , and with 18 fights on the docket, it played out as one of the longest events in company history. The card closed on a high note, however, when Ukraine welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov (27-0 MMA, 8-0 BMMA) retuned to competition with a dominant unanimous decision win over Logan Storley (14-2 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) to move to 2-0 in their head-to-head series. Amosov is proving to be one of the best in the world at 170 pounds, and his flawless record is there to back up that notion. Bellator 275 post-event facts: Gegard Mousasi nets 33rd first-round finish

Bellator closed its February schedule on Friday with Bellator 275 at 3Arena in Dublin. The middleweight championship remained around the waist of Gegard Mousasi (49-7-2 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) in the main event of the card. One of the all-time greats of the sport quickly dispatched of challenger Austin Vanderford (11-1 MMA, 5-1 BMMA), sending him crashing down from the ranks of the unbeaten with an 85-second TKO finish . ‘Bellator 270: Gallagher vs. Mix’ official for Nov. 5 in Dublin, adds ‘Pitbull’ vs. Queally rematch

As expected, bantamweight contenders James Gallagher and Patchy Mix will face off in Ireland. Promotion officials today announced the two will headline Bellator 270 on Nov. 5 at Dublin’s 3Arena. MMA Junkie previously reported the planned matchup . Additionally, the card features a key lightweight rematch between top contenders Patricky Freire (23-10 MMA, 14-8 BMMA) and Peter Queally (13-5-1 MMA, 2-1 BMMA), whose first fight ended via doctor’s stoppage due to a cut.

Bellator announces signings of 24 fighters from U.K., Ireland, including Parke, Brazier, Smullen, Redmond

Bellator has bolstered its roster with the announcement of two dozen signings from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Among the signings are “Ultimate Fighter” winner and UFC veteran Norman Parke ( first reported by MMAjunkie ), former two-division BAMMA champ Terry Brazier , “TUF 27” and UFC vet Richie Smullen and popular Irish lightweight Paul Redmond .
