The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy. The hype continued to grow around the Australian welterweight Saturday when Della Maddalena (13-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) used his striking power to overwhelm Roberts (18-7 MMA, 7-6 UFC) en route to a first-round TKO at the UFC Apex. The heavy hands of Della Maddalena were evident when he dropped Roberts early in the fight.
