Manel Kape expects his power and speed to be too much for David Dvorak . Kape (17-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC) meets Dvorak (20-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 216, which takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+. With his five most recent wins by knockout, Kape expects to take out Dvorak, who he doesn’t think will be able to keep up with his movement. “He’s a stiff guy,” Kape said on MMA Junkie Radio. “It’s a fight I can win not easily, but I can win more easy than the other fights because he’s a perfect match for me

LAS VEGAS – David Dvorak was victorious Saturday at UFC Fight Night 188, defeating Juancamilo Ronderos by first-round submission with a rear-naked choke. Despite winning with relative ease, Dvorak (20-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) said it was “one of the hardest fights in my life” because of the last-minute opponent switch after Raulian Paiva withdrew just one day out. Dvorak also shed light on some injuries that he hopes won’t require surgery and more. You can watch his full interview post-fight interview in the video above. LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 188 fighter weigh-ins. The weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+. Among those weighing in were former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt (12-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) and Rob Font (18-4 MMA, 8-3 UFC), who meet in the main event, and former women’s strawweight champ Carla Esparza (17-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC), who takes on Yan Xiaonan (13-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC).
