Bessette (21-7) lit Croom (16-8) up on the feet with punches, kicks and knees through two full rounds in the CES MMA 41 main event, then decided, perhaps mercifully, to put the challenger away quickly in the third.

CES MMA 38 took place at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I. The main card aired on AXS TV. In the headliner, featherweight Levan Makashvili (9-2-1) tapped Sean Soriano (9-5) at the 4:05 mark of the second round with a rear-naked choke, giving him a pair of wins for CES MMA since his release from the UFC.

CES MMA 38 adds undefeated bantamweight Rico DiSciullo vs. David Garcia

The card for CES MMA’s return to Connecticut continues to come together with the addition of a bantamweight bout between Rico DiSciullo and David Garcia. The CES MMA 38 bout was announced today via press release from the promotion. CES MMA 38 will take place Sept. 23 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. The main card will air live on AXS TV. A bout order has not yet been set for the event
