Matthew Frincu had Maycon Mendonca well scouted, and it showed. Both men came out firing to open their welterweight bout tonight, Frincu with punches and Mendonca with kicks. Punches proved better as Frincu timed a hard straight left perfectly that landed flush and dropped Mendonca at the 1:36 mark of Round 1 for the knockout victory. This KO is even better in slo-mo! Sean O’Malley said he wanted a finish that would go viral to his bantamweight fight with David Nuzzo at LFA 11 tonight. Consider it done. O’Malley (7-0) came out in the first round with a kick-heavy attack against Nuzzo (5-2).

LFA 11 already had a main event. Now it has four more fights to go with it. LFA 11 will take place May 5 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix Ariz., with a scheduled main event of Matthew Frincu (10-2) vs. Daniel Madrid (13-4) for the AXS TV-televised card

Clifford Starks The lineup for next month’s WSOF 23 card in Arizona has been finalized with the addition of seven preliminary-card fights. Included in the mix are UFC veterans Isaac Vallie-Flagg , Estevan Payan and Clifford Starks . WSOF officials recently announced the fights for the show in Phoenix. WSOF 23 takes place Sept. 18 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix.
