RFA 46 took place at Branson Convention Center in Branson, Mo. The event aired on AXS TV. It was the promotion’s final event before 2017’s merger with Legacy FC to become LFA. Johnson (6-0) controlled the entire fight against Tucker (5-2), utilizing his strong wrestling game to score takedown after takedown and control the action on the ground. The only moment of drama in the fight came when Johnson landed a series of illegal shots to the back of Tucker’s head, leading to a point deduction

Filed under: AXS TV Fights , News The main card is set for RFA 46, the promotion’s final event before it merges with Legacy FC to form Legacy Fighting Alliance. A light heavyweight title fight between Jordan Johnson (5-0) and LeMarcus Tucker (5-1) was previously announced as the featured bout of the event, which will take place at Branson Convention Center in Branson, Mo. The main card will air live on AXS TV. The promotion announced five additional bouts for the event, including a co-headliner between welterweights Desmond Hill (8-3) and James Nakashima (5-0). Hill is coming off a loss to Bellator veteran Desmond Green in his most recent bout, which snapped a four-fight winning streak. Nakashima is undefeated in his five professional bouts, winning every outing by unanimous decision.

Legacy FC 61 lineup fills with two title fights, opponent for Mackenzie Dern

The previously announced Legacy FC 61 event now has a nearly full lineup, including a pair of championship contest in the featured slots, as well as an opponent for highly touted prospect Mackenzie Dern . Legacy FC officials recently announced that bantamweight champion Steven Peterson (14-4) will put his title on the line in the evening’s main event against Mark De La Rosa (7-0). Meanwhile, current featherweight champ Kevin Aguilar (11-1) puts his title on the line against former champ and UFC vet Damon Jackson (9-1-1) in the co-feature
