Between drug-test failures , suspensions , fighters missing weight , fighters being pulled from events and nasty injuries , it seems like there have been very few opportunities to celebrate the sport. So, here’s hoping Saturday’s UFC on FOX 20 card will give us a brief respite from the recent onslaught of bad news. Lineup set for Saturday’s UFC on FOX 20 event in Chicago

The UFC returns this week for its fifth event in 17 days, and the lineup finally is set. UFC on FOX 20 features 12 more fights in the month of July and takes place Saturday at United Center in Chicago. The event airs on FOX following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) looks to get back on track after losing the title when she meets Valentina Shevchenko (12-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC). In the co-feature, former Strikeforce lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez (22-5 MMA, 1-3 UFC) meets Edson Barboza (17-4 MMA, 11-4 UFC). Also on the main card is a heavyweight bout between Bojan Mihajlovic (10-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Francis Ngannou (7-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), and the main card opens with a women’s strawweight fight between Kailin Curran (4-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) and Chicagoland’s own Felice Herrig (10-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC)
