All 18 fighters who competed at this month's World Series of Fighting 3 card tested clean for performance-enhancing drugs and recreational drugs/drugs of abuse. MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today received the drug-testing results from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the June 14 event at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The main event saw former UFC fighters Jon Fitch and Josh Burkman meeting in a welterweight bout. It was Fitch's debut with the promotion after being unexpectedly released by the UFC earlier this year. Burkman clipped Fitch with a punch early in the fight in an exchange, knocking him off his feet. Burkman immediately pounced him him and locked in a standing guillotine choke. He dropped to his back and held the choke until Fitch went limp – when he released the hold, stopping the fight himself. The fight has become controversial because of referee Steve Mazzagatti not seeing that Fitch was out and stopping the fight himself.
