LAS VEGAS – Carlos Prates is elated that Dana White compared him to his idol. Prates (17-6) notched his seventh win in a row when he stopped Mitch Ramirez (7-1) by Round 2 TKO Tuesday at Dana White’s Contender Series 60. White had plenty of praise for Prates’ style, and said he reminded him of a young, prime Anderson Silva. The UFC president said he plans on throwing Prates right in the mix, and the Brazilian finisher loves the compliment.

The incident took place around 1:45 a.m. local time in Maine on Monday. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office caught and arrested a 23-year old, Brady Cooper, within hours of the incident and charged him with two criminal offenses. White’s doorbell camera caught Cooper in the act. Cooper tried to kick in the door before fleeing. White posted the video to social media. During the time, White had family at the home.

LAS VEGAS – A man has been charged with two criminal offenses for an attempted break-in of a home owned by UFC president Dana White, police say. In a statement issued Tuesday, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office (Maine) revealed Brady Cooper, 23, of Glenburn, Maine, has been identified and charged after White posted a video of the alleged break-in on his social media early Monday and asked the public for help identifying the individual. The video, captured on a doorbell camera, showed a man approach the door and kick it three times. On the third attempt, the man stumbled before seeing, and grabbing at the camera. The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. local time, according to police.
