Bellator returned to 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday with Bellator 291 , and with 18 fights on the docket, it played out as one of the longest events in company history. The card closed on a high note, however, when Ukraine welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov (27-0 MMA, 8-0 BMMA) retuned to competition with a dominant unanimous decision win over Logan Storley (14-2 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) to move to 2-0 in their head-to-head series. Amosov is proving to be one of the best in the world at 170 pounds, and his flawless record is there to back up that notion. Bellator returned overseas to London on Friday with Bellator 267 , which took place at The SSE Wembley and aired on Showtime. One of the most anticipated rematches in company history took place in the main event. It didn’t deliver as many had expected, but in the end Michael Page (20-1 MMA, 16-1 BMMA) avenged his sole career defeat against former champion Douglas Lima (32-10 MMA< 14-6 BMMA) with a split decision win in the matchup of welterweight contenders.

Page (19-1 MMA, 15-1 BMMA) rematches former three-time welterweight champion Douglas Lima (32-9 MMA, 14-5 BMMA) in the main event of Bellator 267, which takes place at London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley on Oct. 1, Bellator officials announced Tuesday morning. Former Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus was handed a late-notice change of assignment at Bellator 240, but he produced a professional performance to finish Chris Bungard and reassert his championship credentials at the 3Arena, Dublin. Scotland’s Bungard (15-6 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) stepped in at just over three weeks’ notice to face Primus (10-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) and looked to catch the former champion cold as he stuffed an early takedown attempt and hammered Primus with a succession of elbows to the head before jumping on a guillotine choke attempt. Primus managed to extricate himself from the hold before turning the tables on the Scot. He moved to Bungard’s back and attempted to lock up a rear-naked choke
