The UFC closed out its loaded February schedule on Saturday with a strong UFC Fight Night 252 card from Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. After the entire prelims ended in finishes, the main event went the distance when Song Yadong (22-8-1 MMA, 11-3-1 UFC) earned a technical unanimous decision win over former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo (16-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC). UFC Fight Night 252 Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay: Andre Fili leads way with $21,000

SEATTLE – Fighters from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 252 event took home UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay totaling $185,000. The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy. Nursulton Ruziboev received some boos from the Seattle crowd during his fight, but that wasn’t the case when it was over after an electric finish of Eric McConico at UFC Fight Night 252 . With the crowd showing some impatience with the action in the opening round of the middleweight bout at Climate Pledge Arena, Ruziboev (35-9-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) turned on the heat in the second frame when he dropped McConico (9-3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) multiple times before it was stopped at the 33-second mark.
