Several fighters from the UFC’s second event of the year could see extended time on the sidelines for injuries suffered in their bouts. Four athletes are facing potential six-month sits unless doctors clear them early after UFC on ESPN+ 2, according to the event info released by the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA). Among those potentially suspended for 180 days is lightweight Charles Oliveira (26-8 MMA, 14-8 UFC), who suffered two eye pokes in the first round against David Teymur (8-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC).

With the late addition of a bantamweight bout between a pair of Brazilians, the UFC on ESPN+ 2 lineup is set with 13 bouts for Saturday. Felipe Dias Colares (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is set to take on Geraldo de Freitas Jr. (11-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) as part of the preliminary card at Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Brazil. The entire card streams on ESPN+. Colares is unbeaten as a pro and will be fighting for the first time in 16 months
