Much of the MMA world was shocked nearly two weeks ago, not that Chris Weidman beat Anderson Silva to win the UFC’s middleweight title, but the manner in which he did it. Weidman stopped Silva in the second round, stopping his 16-fight UFC win streak and 10 straight title defenses, but also becoming the first man to ever knock out the Brazilian pound-for-pound great. Count UFC commentators Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan among those who were left stunned by the way the fight went down. Now you can go behind the scenes of UFC 162, which took place July 6 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and see some unique footage of Goldberg and Rogan seconds after Silva was laid out on the canvas by the challenger. UFC champ Anderson Silva still set on boxing Roy Jones Jr.

Despite being told no by boss Dana White four years ago, Anderson Silva said he still wants to fight boxer Roy Jones Jr. before hanging up his gloves. “Of course I want to fight him, and maybe after this fight against (Chris) Weidman, regardless of the outcome, I would love to fight him,” Silva said through an interpreter. “He’s already said he’d fight me, so that’s something I’d really like to happen.” Now, there’s just two things in the way. One is the undefeated Weidman (9-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC), who will try to be the first man to beat Silva (33-4 MMA, 16-0 UFC) in the octagon in 17 outings and take the Brazilian’s middleweight belt, which he’s held for 10 fights. That will happen next Saturday at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena for UFC 162.
