Matt Grice (15-5 MMA, 2-6 UFC) and Jeremy Larsen (8-4 MMA, 0-2 UFC) are the latest additions to this fall’s UFC 166 event. UFC officials on Wednesday night announced the bout, which sees Larsen drop to 145 pounds for the first time. It’s not yet known whether the contest will serve on the event’s pay-per-view main card or preliminary cards, which air on FOX Sports 1 and stream on Facebook. UFC 166 takes place Oct. 19 at Houston’s Toyota Center. Larsen is in dire need of a win inside the octagon following back-to-back losses in a pair of UFC fights. On the regional scene, he went 8-2 in a five-year span before appearing on “The Ultimate Fighter 15.” Grice, meanwhile, also is looking to rebound after a valiant effort against Dennis Bermudez at UFC 157, which resulted in a split-decision loss and well-deserved “Fight of the Night” bonus. That setback followed a decision over Leonard Garcia at UFC on FX 3

Before he won the UFC flyweight title and was booked for Saturday’s UFC on FOX 8 headliner, Demetrious Johnson first needed to get by Ian McCall . Twice, in fact. In March 2012 the two fighters were part of a four-man tournament to determine the UFC’s first-ever 125-pound champion. However, a rematch of their opening-round matchup was booked after the first fight ended in a majority draw (and after a scoring error was caught too late to force the contracted sudden-victory fourth round). Check out the video above to see the rematch, which took place at UFC on FX 3 in June 2012. And catch Johnson (17-2-1 MMA, 5-1-1 UFC) in action on Saturday, when he meets John Moraga (13-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in his second title defense.
