This past September at Bellator 143, Santos made his promotional debut against UFC veteran John Teixeira. And like the losers of nearly all split decisions, he believes he won the fight.

Brent Primus Brent Primus will look to build on his undefeated record at Bellator 153 when he faces 32-fight veteran Gleristone Santos in a lightweight bout. The main card bout was announced in a Bellator press release. Bellator 153 takes place April 22 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card airs on Spike following prelims on MMAjunkie. As previously announced welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov (18-1 MMA, 9-1 BMMA) meets promotional newcomer and ex-UFC titleholder Benson Henderson (23-5 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) in the headliner. Primus (6-0 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) is coming off the biggest win of his young career, a Bellator 141 split decision win over Derek Anderson.

Gleristone Santos Bellator MMA’s featherweight division has a new and notable addition. Gleristone Santos (27-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) has signed an exclusive multi-fight deal with the promotion. Officials today announced the signing following an initial report from MMAFighting.com . “Toninho Furia” had been considered one of the 145-pound division’s top unsigned talents.

Vinny Magalhaes captured his first championship in a reputable MMA organization with a fourth-round submission of Jason Brilz in the Titan FC 30 headliner from Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, Texas. Magalhaes (12-7) hurt Brilz (22-6-1) with a head kick early in the frame and locked in a guillotine choke shortly thereafter for the submission finish. With the win in the CBS Sports Network-televised event, the Brazilian became the first 205-pound champion in the new era of Titan FC.

Visa issues hit Friday’s Titan FC 27 debut on CBS Sports Network

Titan FC’s debut show on CBS Sports Network has hit a few road bumps and forced some changes to Friday’s seven-bout card. Officials today announced that visa issues have forced flyweight Pedro Nobre and featherweight Gleristone Santos from their respective bouts at Titan FC 27. Kenneth Porter (4-1) has stepped in for Nobre (15-1-2) and now fights fellow flyweight Bill Friday (4-2). Additionally, Jeff Robbins (0-0) has replaced Santos (25-4) and now meets featherweight Kalvin Hackney (12-3).
