Nelson was defeated by Stipe Miocic in the event’s co-main event in a one-sided fight that saw Miocic land numerous strikes.  His fights with Junior dos Santos , Fabricio Werdum , and and Mir also contributed significantly to the 437 total. Known for his punching power, grappling ability and granite chin, Nelson’s ability to take shots has become epic.  His toughness can’t be questioned, and now he has a record to prove it.
