The former UFC title challenger has booked a return against ex-Bellator fighter Haim Gozali in a grappling match at a Brave CF event on March 9 in Tel Aviv, Israel. Both fighters confirmed the matchup online, but the promotion has yet to make an official announcement

The Viacom-owned promotion on Wednesday confirmed a seven-bout card set for Nov. 14 at Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv. The event airs in the U.S. via tape delay on Friday, Nov. 15 on Paramount Network and will also be streamed on DAZN

Friday night, Gozali (11-6 MMA, 3-3 BMMA) became the oldest fighter in Bellator MMA history to pick up a submission victory. On the preliminary portion of the evening’s event, Gozali pulled off a first-round submission victory over Brazilian Gustavo Wurlitzer .

One of the most significant fight cards in Bellator history took place Friday with Bellator 222, which went down at Madison Square Garden in New York with a main card that streamed on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie. In the main event, Rory MacDonald (21-5-1 MMA, 3-1-1 BMMA) successfully defended his welterweight championship against Neiman Gracie (9-1 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) by unanimous decision to advance to the finals of the organization’s 170-pound grand prix, where he will rematch Douglas Lima.
