On Aug. 20, it was revealed that UFC heavyweight Stefane Struve is suffering from a heart condition that may prevent him from ever competing inside the cage again. Struve (25-6) was diagnosed with a leaking aortic valve and an enlarged heart. He was placed on medication and may require a future surgery. The seven-foot tall Struve has fought thirteen times in the UFC , amassing a 9-4 record. UFC president Dana White believes that’s where Struve’s fighting career will stand.

Although a heart condition has sidelined him indefinitely, and though UFC President Dana White said he doubts the fighter ever returns to the cage, heavyweight Stefan Struve has no plans to call it quits.
