Filed under: News , UFC , Videos Seven fighters from this past weekend’s UFC Fight Night 95 event were issued lengthy medical suspensions, and two could be out of action for up to six months. Erick Silva and Luan Chagas both face medical suspensions that could stretch 180 days. MMAjunkie today received the list of suspensions from Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA) – Brazil’s MMA commission – which oversaw the event. A total of seven fighters on the 13-bout card were suspended following the event, including main event fighter Lina Lansberg , who was given a 45-day sit with 30 days of no contact after a second-round TKO loss to Cristiane Justino. All fighters on the card were given a minimum medical suspension of 14 days with seven days of no contact, including Justino and co-main event fighters Renan Barao and Philippe Nover.

After rocking Urbina (17-10-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in the fight’s first few exchanges, Luque (10-5-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) sealed the deal in brutal fashion with a perfectly placed right hand to the jaw that knocked Urbina out cold at the 1:00 mark of Round 1. The card for UFC Fight Night 95 has come together quickly and the UFC has announced two more bouts for the event. Shinsho Anzai (9-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will face Luan Chagas (14-1-1 MMA, 0-0-1 UFC) and Vincente Luque (9-5-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) will battle Hector Urbina (17-9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in a pair of welterweight bouts. George Sullivan pulled from UFC on FOX 20 for ‘potential compliance issue’ with anti-doping policy

George Sullivan Another UFC fighter has been pulled from a card in the middle of fight week due to potential U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) concerns. This time it’s UFC on FOX 20’s George Sullivan . Sullivan (17-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has been flagged with a “potential compliance issue” with the UFC’s anti-doping policy stemming from “voluntarily disclosed information” the fighter provided to USADA. As a result, the UFC welterweight has been removed from Saturday’s showdown with Hector Urbina (17-9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), which was scheduled to air on the UFC Fight Pass-streamed portion of the preliminary card prior to the FOX broadcast at United Center in Chicago. UFC officials today announced the news along with a release on the company website
