It was the ninth installment of this season of the series.  Prior to the main event, bantamweights Adrian Luna Martinetti and Mark Vologdin fought to a decision in a fight UFC CEO Dana White called the best fight in Contender’s history.

He then delivered a series of punches before other wrestlers intervened . Smith was left on his back, bleeding and missing teeth

After 59 days, he  was released from the hospital only to be re-admitted  days later with an infection.  Throughout the harrowing ordeal, Askren and his family have provided regular updates on his condition and recovery

Rakhomonov’s manager Daniel Rubenstein confirmed to MMA Fighting that the fighter’s wife and son were sent to the hospital after the accident and are in stable condition. According to the Kursiv report, the driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
