Returning from a pandemic-induced hiatus, Invicta FC has gotten the ball rolling on its upcoming schedule. The promotion recently announced Invicta FC 40 for July 2 – and now has now finalized Invicta FC 41 for later in the same month. Invicta FC will be held on Thursday, July 30 in Kansas City, Kan., according to a press release issued by the promotion on Tuesday. The event will stream on UFC Fight Pass.

The promotion today announced the winner of its inaugural “Phoenix Rising Series” event will become Invicta’s new strawweight champion. Virna Jandiroba vacated her 115-pound belt when she signed with the UFC.

Friday’s LFA 43 event took concluded with a big knockout and face-plant in the main event. In a battle of AXS TV Fights middleweight vets, Brendan Allen (9-3) scored a dazzling a highlight-reel knockout win over Larry Crowe (10-7) in the night’s headliner. LFA 43 took place at Beaumont Civic Center in Beaumont, Texas, and it aired on AXS TV. Related Erick Silva kicks off post-UFC run, headlines LFA 45 on July 20 As Crowe pushed forward with lunging punches, a patient Allen caught him flush with a quick left. Crowe was out on his feet and crashed face-first into the mat. The stoppage came at the 2:06 mark of the opening round, and Allen now has nine stoppages in nine career wins – six in the first round

Two former title challengers will meet in next month’s LFA 43 main event. Officials today announced former LFA title challenger Brendan Allen (8-3) and ex-Legacy FC title challenger Larry Crowe (10-6) are slated for the middleweight headliner. LFA 43 takes place June 22 at Beaumont Civic Center in Beaumont, and it marks the organization’s debut in the southeast Texas city.

The show took place at Arena Theatre in the home city of the World Series champion Houston Astros, and the main card aired on AXS TV. In the main event, Jeff Hughes (8-1) dethroned heavyweight champion Richard Odoms (13-4) with a unanimous decision via 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47 scores.
