Pacio went back and forth with former Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Silva in a hard-fought, five-round main event at “ONE Championship 107: Fire & Fury” at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. ‘ONE Championship 107: Fire & Fury’ live results

The second big event of ONE Championship’s 2020 calendar, “Fire & Fury” sees the Asian promotion return to Manila’s Mall of Asia Arena with a card featuring eight MMA bouts, with six of the eight matchups featuring Filipino athletes. Headlining the card is a battle for the ONE strawweight title, as local hero and reigning champion Joshua Pacio (18-3) puts his title on the line against Brazil’s former champion Alex Silva (9-4), while Filipino fan-favorite and former two-time lightweight champion Eduard Folayang (22-8) will look to move one step closer to a shot at his old title when he faces Dutch contender Pieter Buist (16-4) in the night’s co-main event. Two former victims of Demetrious Johnson are set for action in separate matchups as Danny Kingad (13-2) and Tatsumitsu Wada (22-11-2) take on Xie Wei (5-2) and Ivanildo Delfino (8-0), respectively.

The 125-pound title will be on the line when ONE Championship returns to its regular stomping grounds in the Philippines in January. “ONE Championship 107: Fire & Fury” is set for Jan. 31 at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, the promotion announced Thursday. The card will stream on the B/R Live app. In the headliner, strawweight (125 pounds for ONE) champion Joshua Pacio (18-3) will defend his title in front of his home fans against former champion Alex Silva (9-4).

The fight was the co-main event of “ONE Championship 86: Destiny of Champions” at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ONE Championship will return to the Philippines in April, and the promotion will unveil a new series and a bit of a new look. “ONE Championship 71: Heroes of Honor” will take place April 20 at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, the promotion today announced. The card will stream as an online pay-per-view in North America. In the MMA main event, Kevin Belingon (17-5) will fight for his home-country fans in a bantamweight bout against Indonesia-based New York native Andrew Leone (8-3).

The championship bout between Sang (20-10) and Bigdash (9-1), which served as the main event of the online pay-per-view card at Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar, was a rematch of an exciting matchup from ONE Championship 51 in January, which Bigdash won by unanimous decision

As previously announced, the event takes place June 30 at Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar, and it streams as an online pay-per-view in North America with a headliner between middleweight champion Vitaly Bigdash (9-0) and Aung La N Sang (19-10). Officials today announced the card also features Jenny Huang (5-1), whose only career loss came to atomweight champion Angela Lee in her most recent bout, against fellow ex-title challenger and vet Mei Yamaguchi (15-10-1)

Filed under: Featured Videos , News , Videos The most recent ONE Championship card was a finish-heavy affair in Thailand, much to the fans’ delight. at ONE Championship 53, Angela Lee (7-0) defended her ONE Championship women’s atomweight title for the first time with a dominant third-round TKO win over Jenny Huang (5-1) at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Lee outclassed Huang in the grappling department early in the fight, and also lit her up with kicks, knees and combos before finally pounding her out in the third. Check out the highlights of their fight above. Also on the card, Yodsanan Sityodtong (3-1) took out Ramon Gonzales (2-1) in the second round; Joshua Pacio (9-1) topped Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke (7-1) with a split call in the night’s only decision, a certain “Fight of the Night” candidate; and Shannon Wiratchai (7-1) stood toe-to-toe with Ricard Corminal (4-2) before knocking him out in the first.

Today at “ONE Championship 53: Warrior Kingdom,” Angela Lee showed that she is far more than a creative and dynamic grappler – even if her fight once again ended on the ground. Lee (7-0) defended her ONE Championship women’s atomweight title for the first time with a blowout third-round TKO victory over a game but utterly outmatched Jenny Huang (5-1) in the headlining bout at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The online-streamed pay-per-view main event was nothing if not a showcase for the 20-year-old sensation Lee. After winning the organization’s inaugural 105-pound title in a “ Fight of the Year ” candidate in May 2016, Lee’s first title defense wasn’t one that fell into the category of competitive fights. Although Lee’s grappling has been her main point of attack throughout the early stages of her career, her striking was on display against Huang.
