Pacio went back and forth with former Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Silva in a hard-fought, five-round main event at “ONE Championship 107: Fire & Fury” at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. Joshua Pacio defends 125-pound title vs. Alex Silva in ONE Championship 107 main event

The 125-pound title will be on the line when ONE Championship returns to its regular stomping grounds in the Philippines in January. “ONE Championship 107: Fire & Fury” is set for Jan. 31 at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, the promotion announced Thursday. The card will stream on the B/R Live app. In the headliner, strawweight (125 pounds for ONE) champion Joshua Pacio (18-3) will defend his title in front of his home fans against former champion Alex Silva (9-4).

Zebaztian Kadestam defends welterweight title vs. Georgiy Kichigin at ONE Championship 91 in Myanmar

ONE Championship will head to Myanmar in March, and the welterweight title will be on the line. Zebaztian Kadestam (11-4), the promotion’s new 170-pound champion, will defend his belt for the first time when he takes on Georgiy Kichigin (20-5) in the main event at “ONE Championship 91: Reign of Valor.” The promotion announced the new event and booking today. ONE Championship 91 takes place March 8 at Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar. The event will stream on ONE’s online app, as well as Facebook. The 28-year-old Kadestam, from Sweden, won the vacant welterweight title with a fifth-round knockout of previously unbeaten American fighter Tyler McGuire this past November. That win brought his ONE record to 3-1 with his lone loss in the promotion coming at the hands of former champion Ben Askren in a title fight in September 2017.

The fight was the co-main event of “ONE Championship 86: Destiny of Champions” at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The card streamed on ONE’s app. Abbasov took Thani to the ground quickly into the fight, then locked up a body triangle.

Yoshitaka Naito defends strawweight title vs. Joshua Pacio at ONE Championship 80

The strawweight title will be on the line next month when ONE Championship returns to Indonesia. Men’s 115-pound champion Yoshitaka Naito (13-1) will put his title up against challenger Joshua Pacio (15-2) in a rematch in the main event at “ONE Championship 80: Conquest of Heroes.” The promotion announced the headliner, as well as additional fights, late Thursday. ONE Championship 80 takes place Sept. 22 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. The card will stream live through the ONE Championship app. Naito, from Japan, is a former Shooto champion.
