Jorge de Oliveira positive for steroids following loss at UFC Fight Night 62

Jorge de Oliveira After initially announcing all the fighters at UFC Fight Night 62 had their drug tests come back clean, the Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA) had to reverse course today. Jorge de Oliveira tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol, the CABMMA today announced. De Oliveira has been suspended for one year, retroactive to the March 21 event date in Brazil. UFC Fight Night 62 took place at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. It aired on FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass. The CABMMA, in a statement, said a communication error was to blame for its initial announcement that all the fighters’ tests came back clean

He took de Oliveira (7-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) down and roughed him up from mount before securing a rear-naked choke to force the tap at 3:12 of Round 1, earning Giagos (11-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) his first UFC victory.
