Then 20, the Combate Americas bantamweight champion was a community college student thinking about becoming a veterinarian. He was out celebrating his birthday with friends, drinking alcohol, when police officers approached. They asked for ID, and he didn’t have one to give. At 9, Alday’s parents had taken him across the border illegally
