Justin Gaethje and Brian Foster WSOF lightweight champion Justin Gaethje (16-0) is still perfect through 16 professional contests, defending his belt for the fourth consecutive time with a fist-round finish of Brian Foster (25-9). The contest served as the headlining bout of Saturday’s WSOF 29 event, which took place at Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colo. The main card aired on NBCSN. It was Foster who was the aggressor at the bell, coming out with punches and kicks in the face of an always aggressive opponent

WSOF 29 main card complete with addition of three bouts

Josh Copeland WSOF 29 has a complete main card following the announcement of three new bouts. The bouts, which were announced via WSOF press release, include Josh Copeland (11-3) taking on Mike Hayes (19-10-2) in a heavyweight co-main event, a middleweight bout between Cory Devela (16-6) and Louis Taylor (11-3) and a welterweight fight as Josh Cavan (11-6) faces Kris Hocum (7-4). WSOF 29 takes place March 12 at Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colo. The main card airs on NBCSN following prelims on MMAjunkie.

Jarred Mercado, Luke Sanders meet for bantamweight title in RFA 20 main event

Resurrection Fighting Alliance will return next month with its vacant bantamweight title on the line. Jarred Mercado (12-1) and Luke Sanders (8-0) will headline RFA 20 on Nov. 7, with the winner walking away with the promotion’s 135-pound belt. Promotion officials recently announced the card and main event. In the welterweight co-feature, Josh Cavan (9-4) takes on Benjamin Smith (10-2), and the main card also will feature a welterweight bout between Bojan Velickovic (9-2) and “TUF 17″ veteran Gilbert Smith (9-3). RFA 20 will take place at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo
