Brandon Davis is hyper-focused on getting another shot in the UFC – and Saturday, he took one step closer to making that a reality. In his fourth fight since his UFC release in early 2020, Davis (14-8) successfully defended his bantamweight title against Josh Huber in the Gulf Coast MMA 11 main event when he finished the fight with strikes at the 1:31 mark of Round 1. LFA finds new home on UFC Fight Pass; final two events of 2019 set

After losing their broadcast partnership with AXS TV in September, Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) finally has a new home. LFA, who was forced to temporarily postpone all of their events following the AXS TV termination , will now be streamed on UFC Fight Pass. The deal was announced during the UFC 244 preliminary card broadcast on Saturday. The promotion will finish 2019 with two events LFA 78 and LFA 79, both of which will stream on UFC Fight Pass. But because he missed weight, the welterweight title he could have finally wrapped around his waist will have to wait. Njokuanki (12-4) was mostly dominant against Gilbert Smith (10-4), but the weigh infraction made his RFA 22 main event a non-title fight, and the vacant 170-pound strap remains up for grabs.
