Former UFC fighter Karl Roberson is facing several charges after he and another man allegedly burglarized a New Jersey home of $200,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables, according to police. Roberson and Dathan Thompson, both 32, were arrested and identified as the alleged burglars by the Howell Township Police Department, which was announced in a press release .

UFC 266 looks a little different midway through fight week. On Wednesday, the promotion announced that Karl Roberson has been removed from his middleweight bout due to illness. In his place, Dana White’s Contender Series alum Cody Brundage steps in to meet Nick Maximov. The women’s flyweight bout between Manon Fiorot and Mayra Bueno Silva was scrapped from UFC 266 due to COVID-19 protocols. As MMA Junkie previously reported , Fiorot (who is asymptomatic) and her team tested positive for the virus. The UFC also confirmed that the rematch between Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler will be contested at middleweight instead of welterweight as originally agreed upon after Diaz asked for the change

COVID-19 is yet again the reason for another UFC fight cancellation – a second time for the same booking. The middleweight fight between Dalcha Lungiambula (10-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Karl Roberson (9-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) is off Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 183 card. The UFC updated a Thursday release to announce the fight has been scrapped. In addition, Roberson posted on his Instagram stories that COVID-19 was the culprit. The fight originally was booked for UFC 256 six days ago, but was moved to Saturday after Roberson tested positive for COVID-19.
