When it was over, the judges gave the nod to Saunders (19-6-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) by the narrowest of margins, handing him a split decision victory (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) over a game Robertson (15-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC). The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC on FOX 16 event at United Center in Chicago
