Shamil Musaev and Uros Jurisic have been issued fines by the KSW brass for the collective roles they played in the melee that occurred after their fight Jan. 30. Following a solid and competitive three-round fight on the main card of KSW 58 , Musaev (14-0) was declared the winner by unanimous decision to remain undefeated against Jurisic (11-1), who was handed his first professional loss.

Shamil Musaev showed absolutely zero class in the wake of his victory over Uros Jurisic on Saturday at KSW 58 . Following a solid and competitive three-round fight on the main card of the event, Musaev (14-0) was declared the winner by unanimous decision to remain undefeated against Jurisic (11-1), who was handed his first professional loss. Jurisic’s team showed some displeasure with the decision in the immediate aftermath, but just when it seemed cooler heads were about to prevail, Jurisic put his hands to the face of his opponent’s coach. After that, Musaev went over over to Jurisic, said something, wrapped him up in a body lock and slammed him to the mat before unleashing a flurry of punches on the mat before security and team members could break them up.

Daniel Torres became the new KSW featherweight champion on Saturday, when he stopped Salahdine Parnasse less than two minutes into the first round. Torres’ (12-4) awkward right hook caught Parnasse (14-1-1) on the top of the head and put him down to spell an end to the contest, forcing a change of ownership with the 145-pound belt at the 1:49 mark of Round 1 in the KSW 58 main event. KSW 58 took place at an undisclosed venue in Lodz, Poland and streamed via online pay-per-view. Parnasse, despite not being out cold, was unquestionably hurt by the glancing blow, and it was enough for the referee to jump in and stop the fight

The event, which takes place in Lodz, Poland on Jan. 30, will see Parnasse (14-0-1) take center stage as he puts his title on the line for the first time against top contender Daniel Torres (11-4). The night’s co-main event will feature former Olympic weightlifting champion Szymon Kolecki (8-1) take on Martin Zawada (29-15-1) in a light heavyweight clash, with Kolecki looking to continue his impressive run of form that includes wins over former Olympic wrestling medalist Damian Janikowski and former World’s Strongest Man champion Mariusz Pudzianowski. Two undefeated contenders will go head to head in Lodz, Poland as KSW kicks off its 2021 calendar. KSW 58 will see the promotional debut of former Bellator and “The Ultimate Fighter” athlete Uros Jurisic , who is set to take on Shamil Musaev in a welterweight clash in Lodz, Poland. Jurisic (11-0) featured in Season 21 of “The Ultimate Fighter” as part of American Top Team’s lineup, but lost out to The Blackzilians’ Luiz Firmino on the show. But, with TUF matchups run as exhibition bouts, the Slovenian’s professional record remained unblemished. Since his appearance on TUF, Jurisic has gone on to win six in a row, with five coming via first-round finish. Most recently, Jurisic submitted England’s Walter Gahadza via first-round rear-naked choke at Bellator 247, but became a free agent in 2020 and signed for KSW in early-January 2021
