With Lando Vannata out of UFC on ESPN 51 due to injury , McKinney (13-6 MMA, 3-3 UFC) steps in to fight Mike Breeden (10-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) on Aug. 12 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, his manager, Oren Hodak, of KO Reps, told MMA Junkie on Thursday. An additional person with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement

Canada’s Charles Jourdain and the United States’ Lando Vannata will square off at the UFC Fight Night event scheduled for that date at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Two people with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the booking Thursday to MMA Junkie but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Jourdain (12-4-1 MMA, 3-3-1 UFC) has won two of his most recent three bouts including victories over Marcelo Rojo and Andre Ewell.
