Tonight’s LFA 43 headliner features a matchup between middleweights Brendan Allen and Larry Crowe , who have title-fight aspirations in the near future. With LFA’s 185-pound champ Anthony Hernandez getting a UFC contract at Dana White’s Contender Series 10, the belt will seemingly become vacant in short order. Both Allen (8-3) and Crowe (10-6 UFC) hope victory at LFA 43 will give them an opportunity to fight for that title. LFA 43 takes place at Beaumont Civic Center in Beaumont, Texas. Officials recently announced the first three bouts for the card, which airs on AXS TV from Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio. In the main event, Texas featherweights Rivaldo Junior (15-6-2) and Ray Rodriguez (11-4) square off, and in the co-headliner, former Legacy FC middleweight title challenger Larry Crowe (9-6) meets former University of Alabama linebacker Eryk Anders (5-0)

In Friday’s Legacy FC 39 main event at Houston’s Arena Theater, Leite (6-0) scored a second-round TKO victory over Larry Crowe (9-4). However, just prior to the fight-ending ground-and-pound finish, Leite appeared to catch Crowe with an illegal knee to the groin. Referee Jon Schorle, though, didn’t signal a foul, and the fight went on after the blow

Ferreira’s well-rounded attack set up a unanimous-decision victory over Jorge Patino (34-14-2). It also won him the organization’s lightweight title.
