Leonardo Mafra (12-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC), from Brazil, is set to take on Scotland’s own Stevie Ray (17-5 MMA, 1-0 UFC) in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 72. UFC officials announced the new booking today.

The UFC today made the previously reported bantamweight main event between Urijah Faber and Raphael Assuncao official. And Ini the UFC Fight Night 62 co-feature, welterweights Demian Maia (19-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC) and Ryan LaFlare (11-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) are set to meet. Other fights announced today by the UFC include lightweight bouts between Gilbert Burns (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Josh Thomson (20-7 MMA, 3-3 UFC; Matt Wiman (16-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) vs. Leonardo Santos (13-3-1 MMA, 2-0-1 UFC); Cain Carrizosa (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) vs. Leonardo Mafra (11-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC); and Drew Dober (15-6 MMA, 1-2 UFC) vs. Leandro Silva (17-2-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC).
