UFC on ESPN 55 video: Ivana Petrovic submits gritty Liang Na with… rear-naked arm-triangle choke?

Ivana Petrovic pulled off an unusual submission Saturday on the UFC on ESPN 55 prelims. While it took her several attempts throughout the bout, Petrovic (7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) eventually tapped Liang Na (19-8 MMA, 0-4 UFC) with what appeared to be a cross between an arm-triangle choke and a rear-naked choke. The official finish was categorized as an arm-triangle choke at 1:29 of Round 3. Petrovic dominated much of the fight, outside of a brief armbar attempt by Na in Round 2

UFC Fight Night 225 video: JJ Aldrich gets first octagon finish, smashes Liang Na for second-round TKO

JJ Aldrich reigned supreme in a ground battle with Liang Na at UFC Fight Night 225. Aldrich (12-6 MMA, 8-5 UFC) and Na (19-7 MMA, 0-3 UFC) exchanged positions on the ground until Aldrich was able to fend off an armbar attempt and reverse Na. Once in top position, Aldrich dropped heavy ground and pound, tagging Na with big elbows which forced the referee to stop the fight at the 4:49 mark of Round 2 Saturday at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The UFC welcomed fans back on Saturday night with UFC 261 , and things kicked off in wild fashion from the moment the first fight started. Within two seconds, Liang Na dropped Ariane Carnelossi with a right hand, which ignited a crazy first round of action. In the end, Carnelossi rallied from that early setback and scored a second-round TKO win over Na at Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.
