Stots (21-2) closed out the PFL: Battle of the Giants prelims with a third-round submission of Marcos Breno (15-4) in their bantamweight bout Saturday at The Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Stots’ Stots was tested on the feet in the first round, and Breno, despite being a heavy underdog, had more than his share of moments. In the second, Stots settled in a bit, particularly in the ground game. And that continued in the third, when Stots was able to take Breno’s back with a rear-naked choke

How’s this for an LFA debut? Marcos Breno wasted no time in making quite the first impression Friday night, knocking out Ary Farias with one punch. In a fight between jiu-jitsu specialists, both Breno and Farias came out firing in the first round of their bantamweight bout at Upper Arena in Rio de Janeiro. It was Breno (14-2) who landed a huge overhand right as Farias (10-2) closed the distance with a left hook. The lights instantly went out on Farias, who hunched over and collapsed to the canvas.
